  So, I've decided that I'm going to move pages. I haven't used this one in a long time and I feel like I need a clean slate. I'll rewatch everyone I'm watching and I'll keep this one on, just inactive. I'll be taking down the art here and putting it up there. I'm not leaving, just moving over.

  Don't know when I'm doing it, but I'll make a status with the link when I do. Meh.

  Alright, so I told you guys I'm going to get into writing and such. So, I thought a bit of practice is in order. Pretty soon (not now, but soon) I think I'll have a special writing commission event (for free). How this will work is you'll comment me in whatever journal will be the official commission journal telling me you want in. Then, I will choose an OC(s) from you and write a short story about him/her/them. You can suggest one of your OCs for me to write about, but ultimately the decision will be up to me (mwahaha). I'm lenient though, so I might pick the one you suggest. I'll tell you who I pick and you'll send me some background info on it (so I can make it your OC and not an OC that looks like yours but is actually mine). I'm gonna say this right now, I will not do any ponies or sonic the hedgehog or anything like that. I'd prefer it be something a college student could work with to make a gripping short story, and things like that would be difficult to work with (also, don't know anything about those things).

  Like I said, this is just an idea I'm throwing around. THIS IS NOT the actual commission. I just want to see how many people would actually like this kind of thing and would participate (that may effect how long the stories are and how many commissions I do). I may change some rules later too (though pretty dead set on NOT doing ponies and hedgehogs. If you like them fine, go for it, but I am not a fan). I may not even do it at all if it doesn't get a good response. So, yeah, tell me what you think. Lemme see a show of hands to how many people would like this.  And until next time...

Is it really a thing for people to not know that tracing for any reason other than recreation (without giving credit and/or getting permission) is stealing? Like really? How old are you? Wait, you say you have a deadline to meet!? Oh, well here, take my prized art and copy it with no credit to me at all and go make a fortune off of it!

Yes, I am being rude. Tracing for monetary and commercial purposes is apparently a thing. It's not technically illegal, so it's allowed...technically. People who trace for anything other then to learn and/or for fun are stealing. That's that. Maybe if you can't get one small detail right, then maybe it's okay if you make note of it. But tracing half of it and shading it in is not cool unless you're trying to learn something from it or just playing around (even then, if you post it somewhere, give credit, okay).

  Hey remember like back in about 1882 when I said I'd be working on some books? Well, obviously, nothing has hit deviant art (and may never for fear of plagiarism), but I am officially becoming a writer. I like drawing, but I've found it lacking something. A certain quality of telling the full story as intended. I've discovered that I can do this effectively through the written word (which is fancy talk for "I make typing goodly"). I've always considered my art to be sub-par at best, but writing is something I've come to realize is a real talent for me! So, I've made the huge decision to become a professional writer (specifically, a novelist)! I'm currently finishing up my basic required classes for college and then I'll be taking some creative writing classes and English classes and such. I'm really excited to start shelling out books left and right! I've got so many ideas in store that I can hardly pick one to start with! I'm so exCITED I MIGDXGBGHGCYUGHYGJNMFJHNJCGFK!!!!!!!11112RF4TTROIK

  I hate the term OC. I don't know exactly why, but I just really hate that term. To be honest, instead of telling people which characters are yours, tell them which ones are NOT yours and give a link. Maybe I'm just being dumb 'cus I hate labels in general, but it's just one of those urks of mine.
